Absolut St.ART

For the past few months I've been working on an installation for an Absolut vodka event called "Absolut St.ART." My concept was to create a city that incorporated naturally occurring feautres of the landscape (trees, hills, rocks, stumps, etc.) into the architecture of the buildings and other city structures. I built a street corner of the fictional city which included a butcher shop, bus stop, street lights a bus and an angry butcher.

Shop Keepers Society

Here's the second piece I did for my series entitled "The Shopkeeper's Society." The work was created for a "one night stand" of an art show (it was only shown for one evening). The plan is to keep working on some so stay tuned...

New Stuff

I'm working some new pieces for a new show called "Pictures 2" put on by my good friend Andy Capp of the infamous "Bang the Party" shows. The series of my new pieces is called "The Shop Keepers Society." This is the first of a few in the works. Check back soon. Also check out the show site here.

Shameless

Bounjour! I am currently on a bit of a tour through Europe. The family and I are visiting our friends across the pond. As a promotional item for this trip, and in general I have created the first in an ongoing series of promotional booklets entitled "What I Do." With a little help from a little sister I hand bound a handful of these booklets and will be sending them and hopefully handing them to prospective clients. Everyone loves shameless self promotion right? Aside from my friends at projects, projects of course. (lootbag tour crew, you know what I'm saying)

It's been close to a life time since I've last updated this thing. In my posting absence we had a very successful opening for our group show One 2 Many at the Steamwhislte brewery running till the end of April. Thanks to everyone who attended. Here are two pieces I did for the show.

Hodge Podge Wall

Here are a few photos from the second wall i painted with Logan and Alexa (collectively known as Feed the Ponch). We just decided to freestyle and see what happened. Hopefully i'll get back and take a shot without the crazy lighting.

Strictly Butter

Im still on the portfolio grind and recently gave myself another dream job to complete. This time for Nike SB. I decided to do a campaign based around some lyrics from the Tribe Called Quest song Butter. More to come from this project soon.

The Scenic Route

Posting in the nick of time! It was getting close to the weekly deadline and I have been scrambling to finish this illustration i've been working on for a magazine spread re-design. I wrote a fake story about the Lakai team on tour and this is the main illustration. Just realized this scan is kinda funky though. I'll try and post a better version later. This is probably the first piece i've done that was small enough to scan in over a year!
